please pray that my job will let me off tomorrow to go to a funeral

i don't want to get fired. i just got this job. i told her about the funeral two days ago and she just looked at me upset. when i said i would come in anyway she was happy. i need to go to this funeral. please. idk what else to do. i need this job, but this funeral means more to me than working at a beauty supply. my life sucks. i can't do anything. not even go to a funeral for a loved one. i wish i was dead myself.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pheroche in this time of need and distress. Lord, You know the struggles and the pain that Pheroche is enduring right now. Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We ask that You draw near to Pheroche, providing comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we pray for favor with Pheroche's employer. We ask that You soften the heart of the supervisor, allowing Pheroche the time needed to attend the funeral of a loved one. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We trust that You can turn the heart of Pheroche’s employer to be compassionate and understanding.

Lord, we also pray for Pheroche's job security. We know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our provider, and You promise to meet our needs. Philippians 4:19 says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You provide for Pheroche and ensure that this job is secure, or that You open doors to even better opportunities if it is Your will.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness. We declare Your promise from Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We speak life and hope into Pheroche’s situation, knowing that You have a plan and purpose for every moment.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. May Your will be done in Pheroche’s life, and may Your name be glorified.
