Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." We pray that you would grant wisdom and discernment to dcrandjr's girlfriend in dealing with her family, that she may respond with gentleness and love, even in the face of hostility.
