Please pray that my father opens his mind and heart to what a therapist told him so he can bring real healthy changes to the family. He blocks himself and acts like people are attacking him because he doesn't want to change and pretends that if all family members remain positive everything will be perfect no matter how much abuse and mistreatment is endured. He does not take the responsibility to change the dynamics and looks for what benefits him and disguises it as positivity while the same patterns repeat over and over again. No one can communicate anything to him because he gets defensive and blames the person communicating or whatever mistake a person did while communicating. He repeats patterns over and over again that hurt the family and refuges himself with people who support that. These people are bad people who harm animals and people...so not good support. I wish my father would open his mind and that his heart would turn to flesh so he understands the dynamics and how it hurts his daughter the same patterns instead of looking for excuses and not listening to them when they communicate to him how it affects them.

Heavenly Father, in Jesus Name, we come to You on behalf of ### and ask that You open the mind and heart of ###'s father to the advice of the therapist. Help him to bring real and healthy changes to the family. Help him to recognize the need for change and to take responsibility for the dynamics of the family. Help him to understand that true positivity is not found in enduring abuse and mistreatment, but in making the changes necessary to bring about a healthier and more loving environment.
