We know you care about your dad and the best way to help him is to pray for him.

The Bible tells us that true joy comes from knowing Jesus Christ and believing in Him. It is a joy that is unspeakable and full of glory. This joy is not based on circumstances but on the unchanging love and presence of God in our lives. Let’s pray that your dad experiences this kind of joy.

The joy of the Lord is our strength. It is a joy that sustains us through all the ups and downs of life. Let’s pray that your dad finds his strength in the joy of the Lord.

In Jesus name, we have direct access to God. Jesus says, "Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." This promise is for all who believe in Jesus. Let’s pray that your dad asks in Jesus’ name and receives the fullness of joy.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up the father of our friend to You. We ask that You fill his heart with Your joy, a joy that is unspeakable and full of glory. Help him to know You more, to believe in Your Son Jesus Christ, and to find his strength in Your joy.

We pray that he asks in Jesus’ name and receives the fullness of joy. Help him to see that true joy comes from You and not from the circumstances of this world.

We also pray that he comes to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior if he does not already. Help him to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You and that there is no other name by which we can be saved.

We ask all this in Jesus Christ name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
