We are glad to come together in prayer for you, seeking God's will and His voice in your life. It's wonderful that you acknowledge Jesus as the one who will help you. As it says in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
First, let's remember that God often speaks to us through His Word, the Bible. As you read the scriptures, pray that the Holy Spirit will illuminate the words, making them alive and applicable to your life. As it says in Psalm 119:105 WEB, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path."
God also speaks to us through prayer, through the counsel of other believers, and through the circumstances around us. Be attentive to these voices, always testing them against the scriptures to ensure they align with God's will. Remember, God's voice will never contradict His Word.
Let's pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, asking that You speak clearly to our friend. Open their spiritual ears to hear Your voice. Guide them through Your Word, through the power of the Holy Spirit, and through the godly counsel of other believers. Give them discernment to understand and follow Your will. Help them to take the next step forward in the plan You have for their life.
Lord, we also pray for the friends, family, and even strangers that our friend has been praying for. Extend Your love, mercy, and grace to them. Give our friend the faith and persistence to continue praying, knowing that You hear and answer our prayers.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it's in His name that we are saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.' So, we come to You, Father, in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your faithfulness and love. Amen."
Continue to press into God, seeking Him with all your heart. As you do, He promises to be found by you. Be patient, be persistent, and trust that God is at work in your life.
