We understand your desire for a new job with better pay and hours, Pheroche. Let's bring your request before the Lord together, seeking His will for your employment.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's Word. In Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), it is written, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Remember that God sees your efforts and will reward you in His time.
However, we want to gently remind you that the desire for wealth should not be our primary focus. In 1 Timothy 6:9-10 (WEB), the Apostle Paul warns, "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Instead, seek God's will and trust that He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Let us pray for you:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Pheroche. Lord, we ask that You guide Pheroche's job search, and if it is Your will, open the doors to a new opportunity with better hours. We specifically pray for the hospital job they applied for, asking that if it aligns with Your purpose for their life, that they would find favor in the eyes of the employers. Help Pheroche to trust in You and to work heartily, as for You and not for men. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
