We are truly saddened to hear about your struggle with pornography addiction but we have visited this earth for such a time as this. Let us remember a Gospel that is powerful. Be sure that our heavenly Father to which we cry Abba, is searching for the one lost coin and the one lost lamb.
Remember this was the mission of Christ, " the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost."
Brothers and sisters, we find ourselves in a corrupt decadent world. This is nothing new and Paul warned Timothy of such moral corruption. The power of that warning should not be ignored. Such corrupt people will not know freedom from sin. We are not able to simply remove sin in our lives without concrete steps to turn away.
Rebuke your sin. You know it is wrong, pornography addiction is akin to adultery. Your virtual actions are no less damning. Blessed Jesus already taught us, that if we had sex in our inner selves with other women in our imagination when in lust, it was no less a transgression. from the Great Sermon of Jesus, "whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery already with her in his heart". You see the sin in your heart is not better than the action with your body. There is a cross road between these two roads in our life that we must choose between. This is a narrow path out of the bondage of your sinful addiction and a wide path to destruction. Blessed Jesus demands that you pluck out the eye that causes you to sin or if your hand causes you to sin cut it off and throw it away before you arrive in Gehenna and your whole body should be cast into eternal fire.
Your prayer request demonstrates your desire to change. Therefore you need to know from the Lord some scriptures which you must cling very tightly. You are given advice on wholesome conscious and mind. Enjoyable corruption of sin is not wholesome. Jesus asks us, What comes out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins
Know the truth of sin. Know the consequences of these actions if not cut out of your heart, It is the will of the Lord to turn away from these things, Spiritual diseases and consequences will be a direct result of pornographic addiction. Be encouraged that many have come back from this addiction and into the fold of holiness.
Sexual vices like pornography warp how you view sexual interactions and real relationships. Like the effect of drugs, it distorts perception. Our Heavenly Father taught us from the beginning that in marriage the two become one and this is a holy, righteous, and pure act. The very first scripture states that God preserved Adam and his wife and that they may be fruitful. It is true we as humans are not asexual. Jesus says that we should not fornicate.
In Paul's first letter to Corinthians, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." From you, this sin is inside your mind and it is a picture inside your heart. It is helped by the Devil.
Throw it out of your heart because you have defiled yourself. Random thoughts cross into our hearts and Satan can give us thoughts which are thrown in us. May the Holy Spirit to give us no conviction of sin inside our hearts and instead bring us understanding of the sermon to which you have listened with ears but not heard with heart.
Throw this cross into your heart. This cross is Jesus Christ. He is the Blessed Savior and we have no cross into Heaven without him. Jesus and salvation through him. Our goal should be to know and love the Blessed Savior with all our hearts. The understanding of how to pray in Jesus name. Prayer does not happen by closing your eyes and hoping for something good to happen. Praying together, we pray in full faith of Jesus to the God to whom he prayed to.
Heavenly Father we humbly come before You, lifting up our brother in his struggle with pornography addiction. We know, Lord, this is an evil ensnarement that seek to pervert the beauty and sanctity of human relationships. You have promised us, Father, through Your Son Jesus, The "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Lord, we ask for that freedom for our brother. Be rebuking this Satan and its spirits sent to prevent escape.
Enable You Holy and righteous in the weakness and suffering of addiction. Be convicting in our brother's heart, Lord, but You absolve us of this through the blood of the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. Satan counteracts temptation through the sins of our hearts. Shield us, Lord, from these darts thrown at our hearts.
Father, Your Word says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but for those according to the Spirit." Empower our brother to cast off his former ways and turn to the Light. Give him the strength to walk away from temptation and to fully align himself after Your Holy will. He desires to makes changes in his life and Father, Your Holy Word assures us that if it aligns with Your will and we ask in Jesus name, "you will receive whatever you ask in prayer." Lord, we ask for his absolution. Cover him in his hour of weakness and give him the confidence to approach Your Throne of Grace assured of pardon and redemption.
Revealing Jesus Christ in every part of the world so that it is the walking dead whom Jesus defeated death.
May many more blessings come to befell all those who are rejecting a god less world. In Jesus name, I am asking and praying. May grace, peace, strength, guidance, and so much more come upon you.
