Disciple of Prayer
I feel like my relationship with God has been getting worse due to my laziness. I feel that I'm slowly turning into a lukewarm Christian. Please pray that I become more religious and closer to God.
Please pray that I reconnect with God.

"I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:15-16 WEB)
This might seem like a strong rebuke, but it's a reminder of how God feels about lukewarm faith. It's an opportunity to renew your commitment. Remember, being religious is not what God wants, but a deep intimate loving relationship.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) It is only through staying focused on Jesus that we can find our way back to the Father.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who feels disconnected from You. Father, we ask that You forgive their sins and draw them close to You again. Give them all they need to overcome laziness and renew their commitment to You. Help them to have the strength to pursue this relationship and grow deeper in You.
Stir up a burning desire within their heart to know You more, to study Your Word, and to live a life that honors You. May they be filled with the Holy Spirit, and may their life be a testimony of Your love and grace.
In Jesus' name, we believe and pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
