We are delighted to join you in prayer as you prepare to preach and share the Gospel. We commend you for your desire to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Romans 1:16 WEB, "For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, for it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes; for the Jew first, and also for the Greek."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus' name, asking for a fresh anointing upon your servant as they prepare to preach and share the Gospel. Fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may speak with boldness and clarity, as it is written in Acts 4:31 WEB, 'When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.'
Guide their thoughts and words, so that they may present the Gospel with accuracy and conviction. May the words they speak be your words, and may they pierce the hearts of the listeners, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Hebrews 4:12 WEB, 'For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart.'
May the gospel message they share be a sweet fragrance to those who are being saved, and may it convict those who are perishing. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 2:15-16 WEB, 'For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God, in those who are saved, and in those who perish; to the one we are a smell from death to death; to the other a smell from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?'
May their message be received with open hearts, and may it bear fruit for the Kingdom of God. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
