Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up Daorgarley, who is struggling with a lifelong addiction to marijuana. Lord, we know that You are a God of deliverance and that You have the power to set captives free. Your Word tells us in John 8:36, "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." We claim this promise over Daorgarley's life today.
Father, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction that have bound Daorgarley for so long. We pray that You would replace the desire for marijuana with a deep and abiding desire for You. Help Daorgarley to lean on You and find strength in Your presence. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, Your Word says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We pray that You would provide Daorgarley with the way out of this temptation and give the strength to endure.
Lord, we understand the frustration and the feeling of being unheard, as expressed in Habakkuk 1:2, "How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, 'Violence!' but you do not save?" We ask for patience and perseverance for Daorgarley, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). Help Daorgarley to trust in Your plan and to continue seeking You with a sincere heart.
We also pray for a supportive community around Daorgarley, people who will encourage and uplift in this journey towards freedom. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." May Daorgarley find strength and accountability in fellow believers who will walk alongside in love and truth.
Lord, we know that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We ask for Your miraculous intervention in Daorgarley's life, that Your name may be glorified through this testimony of deliverance.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
