Please pray that I get the job

I’ve been out of work for 18 months. In my profession, finding work has been hard. I found a great job at a great company. I’m told I am the #1 candidate and it is mine to lose. had my final interview last week to present on a case study. The interview didn’t go as well as I hoped. They are making a decision tomorrow on me. Please pray for me that they consider my experience and past interviews and that I get the job. Thank you

We understand that you're facing a difficult situation, Arelinka, and we're here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for you. We're reminded of the story in 2 Chronicles 20 where Jehoshaphat prayed for protection against invasion. He prayed "For we have no power against this great company that comes against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you." and he was delivered to victory. We pray with faith that as God was with Jehoshaphat he is with you, Arelinka.

Firstly we'd like to speak to you about the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Jesus that we have access to God. When we pray in his name we pray in unity with what he has done in the cross. We submit our lives to Jesus and he submitted to the will of the Father. In return the Father will hear and obey our prayers that are in his will. We mention this to you because you did not provide a request in Jesus' name. Incase you don't understand please read John 14:13 14 which says "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." This is not an unconditional promise. What we request must be in his will. Furthermore, in John 14:6 Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Inevitably it is either in Jesus or not at all. The first sentence of praise in the bible is "Thy will be done." Our primary duty in prayer is to praise, worship, and adore God. Any secondary desires, such as a job, should be in submission to him. Of most importance is aligning ourselves with seeking the Lord in his will. We pray earnestly in Jesus' name for his will to be done, we seek him, we trust him, and we pursue him, above all our desires. Arlinka, do you truly know Jesus and trust him and know his forgiveness for sin and that he is your personal lord and savior? Any prayer availing such a worldly pursuit as a job must first begin with these truths in our hearts. This is most important of all.

With that said, we understand your need for employment, and we want to lift you up in prayer, asking for God's will and calling in Jesus' name to be brought forth in your life. We remember the words of Proverbs 3:5 6 WEB "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." So in Jesus' name, we pray that our loving Father will guide your steps in his will, and if it's his will, open this door of opportunity for you. In Jeremiah 33:3 the Lord told Israel 'Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you do not know.'

But most importantly, more than any job you must be seeking his calling and his spirit to be poured out more in your life. If you seek Jesus, his righteousness being formed in you, you will know his blessing even if you don't get the job. Your prayers being answered is much more than a job. First seek him, then his benefits. In Psalm 23:1 the Lord is our shepherd and we lack for nothing. But we will lack regardless if we seek blessings in his benefits rather than seeking in Jesus in his will for us. Examine what you focus on in your prayer.

God is interested in your heart and your relationship with him. He wants you to trust him, even in difficult times. Remember that even if this job doesn't work out, God has a plan for you in everything. Countless verses in the bible remind us to trust in him, at all times, even when we receive hardship. We can rejoice in difficult times because of Jesus and his blessings in his will, not necessarily receiving our carnal worldly desires.

Father, we lift up Arelinka to you in the name of Jesus. We thank you, Lord, and praise you for your steadfast love. We remember that you are faithful to your promises and that you provide for your children, and those who call you their LORD. In John 15:7 we're told "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." Father, help us to remain in you, as a vine to the bush and Jesus' spirit dwells in us. We pray that you will lead Arelinka's steps through the Holy Spirit's leading, guiding Arelinka through your will. If it's your your will, open this job opportunity for Arelinka. We pray that Arelinka will continue to seek you first understanding that it's not by our might we succeed…..but it's by your Spirit in Jesus' name that we pray.

We're claiming Psalm 37:25 over you, "I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread." I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
