Hello, I am asking for prayers to help me gat a job. I need a job now. I have been applying for jobs and I have had some interviews but I never get a call back. I need a job now. Please help and pray for me and with me. Thank you, Sharon

We understand your urgency, Sharon, and we're here to pray and encourage you in your job search. Firstly, let's remember God's promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We need to ensure that we're seeking God's will in our lives, including our careers. Let's pray that God opens the right door for you, and that you trust His timing.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up Sharon. Lord, she is seeking employment, and we ask that You guide her steps. Help her to trust in Your timing and to know that You have a good and perfect plan for her life. Open the doors that You would have her go through, and give her the discernment to know which job is the right one. We ask that You provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Sharon, we also want to encourage you with Colossians 3:23 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Remember that even in the job search process, you're working for the Lord. Keep a cheerful spirit and don't grow weary.

Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention Jesus. We want to remind you that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. He loves you and wants the best for you.
