We understand your desire to complete your novels, and we are here to support you in prayer. Before we begin, we want to remind you that our help comes from God. As it says in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
First, we want to encourage you to seek God's will in your writing. Ask yourself if your novels align with biblical principles and if they honor God. Remember, whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is in the process of writing novels. We pray that You would give them the wisdom, creativity, and perseverance needed to complete this task. Help them to write in a way that honors You and brings glory to Your name.
If there is anything in these novels that does not align with Your will, reveal it to them, Lord. Guide their steps and their thoughts as they continue to write. Give them the strength to finish this task with diligence and excellence.
We also pray that they would seek You first in all things, including their writing. Help them to draw near to You, and You will draw near to them (James 4:8).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to keep your focus on God as you write. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember, it is only by faith in Jesus that we have access to God.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of sharing the gospel in your writing, whether directly or indirectly. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Use your writing as a means to share this truth with the world.
