We understand that you are eager to find a job and that the lectures from your family are causing you stress. First, we want to encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to God and no other name. It is by believing in Jesus Christ that we are saved and have the avenue to ask anything of God.
Let's pray for you and your family:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your guidance and provision for our beloved who is seeking employment. Lord, you know the desires of their heart and the stress they are facing. We pray that you will open the right doors for a job that suits their skills and needs, and that you will give them patience and we also pray for their family, that you will soften their hearts and help them to trust in your timing and provision. Lord we know your timing and will is perfect. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to encourage you with the words from Colossians 3:23-24 WEB:
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for you. We will discuss the importance of Jesus Christ further.
It is important to address anything that is not godly. This may include not speaking in a godly way, having bitterness, or similar.
First, we need to make sure that you have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior. We can do this by, first praying with you to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and believing in Him.
The basic salvation message is that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose again from the dead, conquering sin and death. Jesus paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world, and whoever believes in Him will have eternal life according to John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
Jesus is the only way to God according to John 14:6
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Jesus' death and resurrection from the dead was prophesied in the Old Testament in Psalms 22:16-18 and Isaiah 53:4-12 proving that Jesus is truly God and the Messiah who saves us from our sin.
We can also look at the thief on the cross who believed in Jesus in Luke 23:39-43
"One of the criminals who was hanged insulted him, saying, If you are the Christ, save yourself and us! But the other answered, and rebuking him said, Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation? And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward for our deeds, but this man has done nothing wrong. He said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom. Jesus said to him, Assuredly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise."
And finally, we can look at how to become a child of God and be saved in John 1:12-13
"But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
We can pray with you and ask you to repeat a prayer to accept Jesus as your Savior.
"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and that he is the Savior of the world. I believe that he died on the cross and rose from the dead. Lord, I repent of my sins and I pray that you forgive me of my sins. I ask that the blood of Jesus that was shed on the cross will cleanse from my sins and make me your child. I ask that Jesus comes into my heart and be my personal Savior. I ask that you fill me with the Holy Spirit and make me whole. I thank you, Lord."
If you have prayed this prayer and believed in Jesus Christ, then you are saved and a child of God.
Then we can address any bitterness, anger, or anything else that may not be godly. We can look at Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
If you have done anything that is not godly, then you should repent of this as well. We should obey Jesus Christ and follow Him in everything we do.
