We understand that you're seeking prayer for job stability and the extension of your current project. Firstly, we want to encourage you and remind you that God is faithful in providing for His children. It's important to trust in His plan for your life, as He knows the best path for you.
We need to first discuss the approach to God. There is only one way to approach God and that is through Jesus Christ His Son. Jesus stated in John 14:6 WEB I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Also, we have assurance in Romans 10:13 For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
That being said, if you have not done so, the Bible calls for all to be saved. That means to believe in Jesus Christ and His death, burial, and resurrection as a payment for your sins. If you have not done so, please do this first. This does not mean that you will not have any issues, but you will be a child of God.
Now let's address your request.
In all things, we should strive to do our best and trust that God will direct our paths. As it says in Colossians 3:23 WEB Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We should work as if working for the Lord, knowing that He will reward our diligence.
Proverbs 16:3 WEB also states Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. Trusting in God's plan for our lives is key.
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You, in Jesus name, lifting up our dear friend who is seeking stability in their current job. We pray for Your will to be done in their life. If it is Your plan for them to remain in this job, we ask that You would cause the project to be extended. We also pray for Your guidance and provision. There are no worries with You. If this job is not part of Your plan, we trust that You have something better prepared for them. Help them to trust in You and Your timing. Give them peace and assurance that You are always working things out for their good and for Your glory.
However, Father, if our friend has not believed in Jesus Christ, we pray that they would come to know Him as their personal Savior. Open their hearts and minds to the truth of the gospel.
We ask all of these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, remember Philippians 4:6-7 WEB In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Trust in God, and He will take care of you.
If you have not believed in Jesus Christ, please let us know so we can pray for your salvation and provide guidance on how to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
