Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Gegromos and his prayer request. Lord, we acknowledge that self-control is a fruit of the Spirit, and we ask that you would grant Gegromos the strength and grace to overcome the struggle with masturbation that is affecting his relationship with You and hindering what You have in store for him.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body." We pray that Gegromos would have a deep conviction to flee from this temptation and turn to You for help and guidance.
Lord, we know that in our weakness, Your strength is made perfect. We ask that You would empower Gegromos with the Holy Spirit to resist the urge to engage in this behavior. Help him to find healthy outlets for his desires and to fill his mind and heart with things that are pure and pleasing to You.
We also pray for accountability and support in his journey. Surround Gegromos with godly friends and mentors who can encourage him, pray for him, and hold him accountable. May he find a community of believers who can walk alongside him in this battle.
Father, we know that You are a God of restoration and healing. We pray that as Gegromos seeks to honor You with his body, You would restore his relationship with You and bring about a renewed sense of purpose and direction in his life. Help him to fully surrender his desires to You and trust in Your plan for his life.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that You are faithful to answer our prayers according to Your will. Amen.
