Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Lorenzo Scott. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life as he seeks to overcome the struggle with lust. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to mankind, and You are faithful; You will not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear. But when we are tempted, You will also provide a way out so that we can endure it.
Father, grant Lorenzo the self-control he needs in every area of his life. Help him to flee from situations that lead to sin and to seek Your strength and guidance. We pray that he will not fall into relationships that are not in alignment with Your will, and that he will be protected from any unwanted consequences.
Lord, fill Lorenzo with Your Holy Spirit, empowering him to live a life that honors You. As it says in Galatians 5:16, let him walk by the Spirit so that he will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Surround him with godly influences and give him the wisdom to make choices that lead to life and peace.
We trust in Your power to transform and renew, and we thank You for the victory that is found in Jesus Christ. In His mighty name, we pray. Amen.
