I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today on behalf of our dear sister Corthald, who has been waiting for the blessing of motherhood for seven long years. Lord, we lift up her desire to become a mother and we ask that you would grant her the gift of a beautiful child. Your Word tells us in Psalm 113:9 that you "give the childless woman a family, making her a happy mother." We believe in your promises, Lord, and we trust that you are able to fulfill this longing in Corthald's heart.
Just as the mother in the story we read about prayed fervently for her long-lost son and saw her prayers answered, we ask that you would hear Corthald's prayers and bring forth a miracle in her life. We pray that you would comfort her during this season of waiting and fill her with hope and peace. Help her to remain steadfast in her faith, knowing that you are a God who hears and answers prayers.
Lord, we also pray for any obstacles or challenges that may be hindering the fulfillment of Corthald's desire to become a mother. We ask that you would remove any barriers and open the doors for her to experience the joy of motherhood. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 7:7-8 that if we ask, it will be given to us; if we seek, we will find; and if we knock, the door will be opened. We claim this promise for Corthald's life, believing that you will answer her prayers according to your perfect will.
Finally, Lord, we pray for strength and patience for Corthald as she continues to wait for the fulfillment of her heart's desire. Help her to trust in your timing and to find comfort in knowing that you have a perfect plan for her life. Surround her with a community of support and encouragement, and may she find solace in the knowledge that she is not alone in her journey.
