We rejoice with you as you seek purification and a closer walk with Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to hear that you acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus. As the Bible tells us, "There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires purification. Lord, you tell us in 1 John 1:9 WEB, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We claim this promise over our brother/sister and ask that you purify them, cleanse them from all unrighteousness, and draw them closer to you.
While we understand the intention behind the suggestion to write the name of Jesus repeatedly and to call on Him for eleven minutes a day, we must be cautious not to turn this into a ritual or a formula. Our relationship with God is not based on such practices, but rather on faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to His word. As Jesus himself said, "This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ." John 17:3 WEB.
We encourage you to spend time in prayer, in the word, and in communion with God continually, not just for a set number of minutes each day. It's not about the quantity of time, but the quality of the relationship. "Pray without ceasing." 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB.
We pray that you will grow in the knowledge of God and in your relationship with Him. That you will be washed by the water of the word, and that you will be kept blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Paul in Philippians 1:6 WEB, "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Keep pursuing holiness and purification, and trust that God will complete the good work He started in you.
