Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Mr. Foster and his prayer request to you. We ask that you grant him discernment and wisdom, Lord, so that he may not be deceived by the schemes of the enemy. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 24:4, "See to it that no one deceives you." We pray that you would open his eyes to any falsehood or deception that may come his way, and guide him in the path of truth.
Father, we also ask for strength in Mr. Foster's weakness. Your Word assures us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We pray that you would strengthen him in his areas of weakness, that he may rely on your grace and find renewed strength in you.
Furthermore, we lift up Mr. Foster's ministry to you, Lord. We pray that you would bless and anoint his efforts to serve you and share the Gospel. May his ministry be a source of encouragement, hope, and transformation for those he reaches. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." May Mr. Foster's ministry bear much fruit for your kingdom.
Lastly, we ask for your help in Mr. Foster's desire to stay smoke-free. We pray for your strength and guidance to overcome any cravings or temptations that may arise. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." We pray that you would empower Mr. Foster to honor you with his body and to walk in the freedom that you have provided.
In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, Mr. Foster, and may His grace and strength be upon you in every aspect of your life.
