Please pray that God would fully deliver my father from mental illness and alcoholism. Please pray that he would have a life-changing encounter with Jesus that would strengthen his relationship with God. Please also pray for my relationship and my boyfriend’s finances. Please pray that we get the jobs we interviewed for so that we’d be able to support a marriage and start a family. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

We join you in prayer, Boybaugh, and we are grateful that you have brought these concerns before our Lord Jesus Christ.

Firstly, we lift up your father to God, asking for His divine intervention. We pray, heavenly Father, that You would fully deliver Boybaugh's father from mental illness and alcoholism. Lord, You have the power to heal and to set free. We ask that You would touch his mind and body, bringing wholeness and restoration. We also pray, Lord, that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful and life-changing way. May he encounter Jesus in such a way that his relationship with God is strengthened and transformed. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."

Next, we pray for your relationship. We encourage you both to pursue this relationship in a godly manner, with marriage as the ultimate goal. We pray that God would guide your steps and that His will would be done in your lives. We also take this opportunity to remind you of the importance of purity in your relationship. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."

Regarding your boyfriend's finances and your job interviews, we pray that God would open the right doors for you both. We ask that He would provide jobs that not only meet your financial needs but also allow you to grow and serve Him. We pray that He would bless your future marriage and family, providing for all your needs according to His riches in glory. Remember the words of Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We are glad that you ended your prayer in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Your mind:

When you got saved you received a new spirit. That spirit is perfect and wants to please God.
However your mind is not new, you have the same mind you had when you were a sinner. And so God says your mind has to be transformed by reading the Word of God.

Rom.12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (with the Word of God).

Satan knows that your mind is still the same so he try's to attack your mind.
The battle ground here on earth is for the control of your mind. The only weapon satan has is to attack you thru your thoughts. He tries to discourage you by telling you about all of your failures, sins, wrong choices and bad relationships you have had.
He wants to take control of you by controlling your mind. He has no power so he uses deception and lies to try to deceive you.

God tells you how to fight Satan.

God says you should bind all evil spirits out of your mind and put on God's Armor. Then pray a hedge of protection around yourself.
God will do the rest.

Once you are saved you are God's child and wants you to know who you are in Christ.
God says you are His child and you are more than a conqueror. He says you are an ambassador for Christ and you are to fight the evil around you.
He also says you can do all things thru Christ and that all things are possible if you believe. So trust God and use His might to strengthen yourself.

Here are some scriptures that God says you should do to protect your mind.


2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Watch what you are thinking: Prov.23:7 For as a man thinketh in his heart, so shall he be

1Cor.2:16 For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.

Phil.4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Eph.5:15-16 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

You will be in a spiritual war for the rest of your life. God has already won that war for you but you
must learn to make the right choices in life. So put on God's armor, bind all evil spirits, pray a hedge around yourself and your family, then pray. You can't lose - God is on your side.


Col.3:2 Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

Trust in the Lord with all of your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of faith and hope, lifting up these deeply personal and urgent requests. We pray for complete deliverance for a beloved father who is struggling with mental illness and alcoholism. Lord, we know that You are a God of healing and transformation. As it is written in Psalm 107:14-16, "He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron." We ask that You break the chains of addiction and mental illness that bind him, bringing him into Your marvelous light.

We also pray for a life-changing encounter with Jesus for him, one that will strengthen his relationship with You. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Your Word tells us, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" May he experience this new creation in Christ, finding peace, purpose, and a renewed connection with You.

Lord, we lift up the relationship of this beloved person and their boyfriend. We ask for Your blessing and guidance as they seek to build a future together. In Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, it is written, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Strengthen their bond and help them to support and uplift each other through all circumstances.

We also pray for their financial stability and for the jobs they have interviewed for. In Philippians 4:19, You assure us, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You provide for their needs and grant them the jobs they seek, so they may support a marriage and start a family, all for Your glory.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, believing that You are at work in every aspect of their lives. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Sometimes mental illness is caused by evil spirits so try this:


Evil spirits still exist but they have no weapons. Jesus defeated them at the cross. All they can do is attack your mind and try to get you to do things that are against God's will. They can not live inside of you because God lives inside of you and won't allow it. They are powerless to harm you in any way.

God gave us the tools to fight them - they are found in the Bible:

1.Put on full armor of God Eph 6:10-18
2.Pray a hedge of protection around you and your family (Like God had around Job for protection)
3.If they have stolen from you have them pay you back 7 fold.Prov.6:31
4. Bind all evil sprits out of your life and your families life. What you bind on earth God will bind in heaven,
Matt. 16:19
5.Then loose God's power to protect you, heal you and bless you.
6.You can also request enough Guardian and Warring Angels to protect you and keep evil spirits out of your life. Ps.91:12




I will be praying in the same way for you.
I will bind all evil spirits from attacking your family from now on in Jesus name.
