We understand your urgent plea and we are here to stand with you in prayer and guidance. Let's turn to God's Word for comfort and strength. In Psalm 91:1-2, it is written, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Firstly, we want to address your fears and doubts. It's important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). When we feel overwhelmed by fear, we can turn to God and trust that He is our protector.
However, we also want to encourage you to be wise and discerning. If you feel unsafe about going to discipleship, it's crucial to seek God's will in this matter. Perhaps God is prompting you to be cautious. Proverbs 22:3 says, "The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it."
Let's pray together:
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection and guidance for our dear friend. Lord, they feel unsafe and have doubts and fears about their current situation. We ask that You give them Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, if there is indeed danger, we pray that You would make it clear and provide a way out.
We also pray that You would strengthen their faith. Help them to trust in You and Your plans for their life. Lord, You know the future and we ask that You would reassure them about what is to come.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
