Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of Anonymous. We ask that you would extend your saving grace to Becky, Mark, and all those who persecute. Lord, you are the God of salvation, and nothing is impossible for you. We pray that you would open their hearts and minds to receive the truth of your Word and the love of Jesus Christ.
In your Word, you have shown us the power of united prayer. Just as the Apostle Paul requested prayer for deliverance from wicked men, we join together in prayer, asking for deliverance for those who persecute. We pray that you would soften their hearts, remove any barriers or hindrances that prevent them from seeing the truth, and bring them to a saving knowledge of your Son, Jesus Christ.
We also pray for the Church, Lord. We ask that you pour out your Holy Spirit upon it, that the Word of the Lord may have free course and be glorified. Strengthen your Church, Lord, and protect it from those who seek to harm it. May your light shine brightly in every congregation, and may the Gospel be preached with boldness and clarity.
We lift up our country as well, Lord. We pray for our leaders, that they may govern according to your Word and value the Bible. We ask that you revive the hearts of those who do not know or preach the truth, that they may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we pray for ourselves, Lord. Help us to be holy in all aspects of our lives, to maintain a constant communion with you through prayer and Bible-reading. Strengthen us to serve our generation, to be sober in prosperity, patient in trial, and humble at all times.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your power to save and transform lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
