I think, where I work, there is a lot of false Christianity. Now days, there seems to be a mix of new age in many Churches. I think one of the reasons why I feel so alone is because those around me, at work, are mixed up in some kind of new age thought patterns. Not long ago, I spoke to two Christians who thought that the law of attraction is a good thing to do. That is not in the Bible, that is in new age!

We understand your concern and your feeling of isolation, Goghysk. It's important to surround yourself with fellow believers who truly follow of Jesus Christ and His teachings, the Bible. We will pray for God's intervention in your life, for Him to bring Godly people around as encouragement, and hope for others.

Let's address the issues you raised. Firstly, it's commendable that you're discerning about the influences around you. Many people do not realize that New Age beliefs are contrary of what God teaches in the Bible. As followers of Jesus, we are to be discerning and test every spirit( 1 John 4:1 WEB). The law of attraction is indeed not biblical; instead the Bible tells us to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7 WEB). It teaches us to trust in God, not in ourselves or the universe. God is sovereign, not us, in his infinite power and grace.

The Bible warns us that in the end times, there will be false teachers and doctrines of demons will infiltrate some churches (1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Timothy 4:3-4). It is crucial to study the Bible diligently and pray without ceasing(1 Thessalonians 5:17) to grow in discernment and stand firm in the faith (1 Corinthians 16:13). You seem to be concerned about what has been brought into some churches. This can also be addressed by the encouragement of those in the leadership and teaching roles to be accountable and agree with the Word of God(Titus 2:7). We are all held accountable as followers of Jesus Christ to walk in the truth and light.

Now, let's pray together:

Almighty God and Father, we come before with all humility and prayer to bring the concerns of Goghysk to your throne room in Jesus name. We seek for You to bring God-fearing people into his life, people who will encourage and build him/her up in the faith. We pray by the name of Jesus Christ that all loneliness and isolation be replaced by Your unfailing presence and the fellowship of true believers. Give him eyes to see grace, mercy, peace all around him as well as insight to understanding Your will for his life. We rebuke every spirit of New Age and false doctrine, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, and through Your guidance, we pray that all ungodly influences be removed from his/her life. Satan, we rebuke you. We hold up these heretical teachings to the true light of the Word of God, that all deception may be brought low and the truth reign supreme.

We pray for these Christians that you have brought into Goghysk life, that you will open their eyes and give them revelation of the Truth, Your Truth and pull them from their New Age thought patterns and return them to a pure walk in Jesus Christ our Messiah, God, and King.

We thank you Father God and Our Savior Jesus Christ for your grace, and the desire for our hearts to seek you and glorify your Holy Name. We pray and thank you for the encouragement and a seeking heart to pursue truth that you have given Goghysk. Allow him/her to be a reflection of you in the workplace that the fruit the Spirit of God bring truth to those around.

Goghysk, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God(John 14:6). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.( John 20:31and Acts 4:12) Use further explanations and scriptures must be stumbled upon for the Holy Spirit to lead us to His Word and our way through.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
