We are here to lift you up in prayer and to offer biblical guidance as you seek God's truth about your family. We commend you for seeking God's will and truth, as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In seeking God's truth, we encourage you to dive into His Word, the Bible, where His truth and answers can be found. Praying to God in Jesus' name is essential. We are instructed to abide in God, and He in us. We cannot abide in God unless we are in Jesus, see John 15:4.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family. We pray that You reveal Your truth to them and guide them in understanding Your will for their family. Open their hearts and minds to receive Your wisdom and discernment. Help them to see their family through Your eyes and to love them with Your love.
Father, we also pray for the salvation of each family member and the household. We ask that you would remain in the household but not as spirit. We ask that you cause each member to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to abide in Him.
If there is any hidden sin, strife, or unforgiveness within the family, we pray that You expose it and bring it into the light. We pray that we would have a heart to confess and repent, and a desire to walk in obedience to Your Word.
Lord, we ask for protection for their family, that You would surround them with Your angels and keep them safe. We pray that Your love and truth come to them by Jesus Christ and Your Holy Spirit.
We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember the words of Jesus in John 8:31-32 WEB: "Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him, 'If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.'"
Continue to seek God with all your heart, and trust that He will reveal His truth to you. If there is any sin or unrighteousness, remember that we have 1 John 1:9 WEB: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Stand firm in your faith, and do not be deceived by the enemy's lies. Trust in the Lord, and lean not on your own understanding. He will direct your paths and guide your family according to His will.
Lastly, we encourage you to pray for your family's salvation and that they would come to know the love and truth of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved. See Acts 4:12.
