We are here to lift up those who feel broken to the Lord in prayer. God wants to heal those who are hurting and be close to them in their pain.
First, we address this to Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved and that gives us access to God. Acts 4:12 says: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! This is fundamental to the Christian faith. If you are not a Christian, some of this may be new to you.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and our Lord and Savior. We lift up those who feel broken and hurting right now. We ask that You would bring Your Word to their hearts, which says in Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Father, we pray that You would be close to them, as You have promised in Psalm 34:18, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We ask that You would bring healing and restoration to their lives. Bring Your hope to them so that they can see the way out of their troubles. You are the God who restores and redeems and You can bring beauty out of ashes and brokenness.
Father, bring Your Spirit to them and build them up. Help them trust and rest in You in the middle of their pain. In Jesus Christ precious name.
Thank you for believing in the power of our Lord to heal! When we feel broken and hurting, God is there to comfort us and to bring us closer to Him.
We encourage those feeling broken to seek God's Word and His promises for them. The Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 Turn to Him in your pain and know that He is faithful to heal and restore.
We also remember and remind everyone that trials produce perseverance, character and hope. This is God's way of making us more like Jesus. Romans 5:3-5 And not only this, but we also celebrate in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Lastly, we encourage you to be in fellowship with other believers. They can provide support, encouragement, and prayer as you walk through this time. Don't try to go through this alone. Share your burdens with others as we are instructed in Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
