We are joining with you in prayer, Anonymous, pleading for God's healing touch upon your family. In Jesus' name, we come together.
Let us pray. Our dear Lord, we lift up Anonymous and their family to You, asking for Your divine healing and protection. We know that You are the Great Physician. We know that you are a jealous God and want us to rely on you. We know that Jesus Christ suffered from the flu and many other ailments. As the scripture says, “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. “By his wounds you have been healed.”
1 Peter 2:24 WEB
Yet, we do not believe in Jesus Christ for the gifts and calling. Instead, we believe in Jesus Christ because you are the only true and living God and the only way to be saved from an eternal punishment in a lake of fire and brimstone. There is no other way to be saved and there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We come to you as repentant sinners. We acknowledge and confess our sins and the sins of Anonymous and their family. We come before you in Jesus Christ name to beg your forgiveness. We turn from our sins to you and ask that you have mercy and grace on us and forgive us and take us to be with you when we leave this earth. We know that your punishment for sin is severe and eternal and the only way to avoid it is by calling on the name of Jesus Christ to forgive us.
We are the light of the world, and we do not want to be silent about our salvation, but we want everyone to know it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and that we are able to come to God. We must take every opportunity to speak of the forgiveness of sins and our salvation from punishment that is available to anyone who believes. Jesus Christ is the son of God and it is by his shed blood and sacrifice that we can be forgiven of our sins. There is no other way. As the scripture says,
Acts 4:10-12
“be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’ There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
Thank you, Jesus. We are so very grateful that we are able to come before you in your son's name. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
