Let us come together and pray for your brother's guidance in his career and education. It is wonderful that you are seeking God's will for him during this time.
Firstly, we are reminded of the importance of acknowledging God in all our ways so that He can direct our paths. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let us pray that your brother will trust in the Lord wholeheartedly, seeking His face and wisdom in every decision he makes regarding his career and education.
We also remember Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." God has a wonderful plan and future for your brother. Let us pray that God reveals this future to him and that he pursues it knowing that God has a plan and purpose for his life.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the brother of Anonymous to You. Lord, we ask that You guide him in his career and education, that You reveal Your will for his life, and that You give him the wisdom and discernment to follow Your path. Help him to trust in You wholeheartedly, acknowledging You in all his ways.
We pray that in this time of decision, he will pray to you, Father, in Jesus' name, and that you guide him. We also pray that he will be obedient to Your will, even when it may not be what he expected or wanted.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, believing that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one comes to you, Father, except through Him.
Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you both to be in constant prayer, seeking God's will, and trusting in His timing. God's ways are often not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Trust that He is working everything out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Continue to support your brother in prayer and encourage him to do the same. God hears and answers our prayers according to His will.
