We are glad to join you in prayer, ###, and we appreciate your faith in God's mercy and protection. We can confidently approach God's throne of grace and ask for mercy and protection in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let's remember that God is rich in mercy and abounding in love. Ephesians 2:4-5 WEB tells us, But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved). God's mercy is evident in our salvation through Jesus Christ, and we can always trust in His mercy throughout our lives.
Regarding protection, Psalm 91 WEB reminds us of God's constant care: He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
As for angelic protection, God indeed sends His angels to watch over us. Psalm 91:11-12 WEB says, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and protection for ###. Cover them in Your mercy, Lord, and help them to experience Your unfailing love and forgiveness. Protect them from all harm and danger, and send Your angels to watch over them and help them in their time of need.
Lord Jesus, as You have promised to be with us always, help ### to trust in You and to rest in Your love. Help them to grow stronger in their faith and to walk in Your will.
We rebuke any spiritual attacks on their life and cancel any plans of the enemy that may be arrayed against them.
Please be with them and comfort them, and help them to know that You are always with them, in Jesus' name. For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, remember that our prayers are powerful when aligned with God's will and in the name of Jesus. John 14:13-14 WE. Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. This is because it is only by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross that our sins can be forgiven. In the Gospel of John 14:6 WEB Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Therefore, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ and no other.
