We understand your desire for harmony among families and we are here praying and discussing this with you. In God's Word, He emphasizes the importance of love, forgiveness, and unity among family members, which is pleasing to God. Let's pray together.
Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, asking for your grace and mercy to fill every family. We pray that you heal any brokenness, resentment, or division that may exist among family members in Jesus name.
Help each person to be slow to speak, slow to anger, and quick to listen. Help them to be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as you have forgiven us through Jesus in Ephesians 4 32.
God, you have called us to live in peace with one another in Romans 12 18. So we pray for that supernatural peace to fill every family.
We pray for the love of God to be shed abroad in every heart in each family. We pray this in the name of Jesus.
Lastly, we encourage you and everyone hoping for family unity to walk in the forgiveness prayed for above in Ephesians 4 32, to walk in that peace prayed for above in Romans 12 18. This is only possible by the name of Jesus Christ. In fact, the Word tells us in Acts 4 12 that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.
We also encourage you to consider the forgiveness of Jesus by believing in him as your Savior if you have not already. The forgiveness that is prayed for above is a product of salvation. It is because we have been forgiven everything by Jesus that we should forgive everyone. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Savior, we encourage you to consider the Good News.
It is by believing in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection that saves us from God's wrath according to 1 Corinthians 15 1-4. It is by believing in Jesus' perfect life that saved us from the Law of Sin and Death according to Romans 8 1-4. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life in John 3 16.
