Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Daryl to You. We ask that You would intervene in his life and help him overcome his struggle with drinking. Lord, we pray that You would touch his heart and draw him closer to You.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:17-18 that "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We ask that You would hear our cry on behalf of Daryl and deliver him from the bondage of alcohol.
Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to Daryl in a powerful way, showing him the love and grace that You offer. Help him to understand that true fulfillment and joy can only be found in a relationship with You. Open his eyes to the destructive nature of his addiction and give him the strength to turn away from it.
We also pray for the support and encouragement of those around Daryl. Surround him with godly influences who will speak truth into his life and help him on his journey towards sobriety and a deeper relationship with You.
Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You. We believe that You are able to transform Daryl's life and set him free from the chains of addiction. We trust in Your unfailing love and mercy.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
