Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in agreement and prayer. We lift up all pastors in America, asking God to keep them connected through group chats and other means of communication, for the advancement of His Kingdom and the encouragement of His people and the salvation of the lost.
We pray that these connections will provide comfort and safety, not just physically, but spiritually as well. May these groups be a place where pastors can share their burdens, gain wisdom, and build godly relationships and accountability with each other. As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17 WEB. Let these groups be a place to discuss the challenges of ministry and gain council from one another via scripture.
We ask God to guide these conversations, that they may be filled with grace, wisdom, and truth. May they be a source of encouragement and strength, helping each pastor to remain steadfast in their faith and ministry. Let us remember the words of the Apostle Paul, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
We also pray that these groups will be a place where pastors can hold each other accountable, spurring one another on toward love and good deeds, as Hebrews 10:24 WEB tells us. We ask God to protect these groups from division, strife, and false teachings, and that they may be a true reflection of the unity that Jesus prayed for in John 17:21 WEB, that they all may be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me. May these group chats be an extension of the love and unity that exists among the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Finally, we ask that these groups and their pastors pray in Jesus' name and the will of God the Father. It is the name of Jesus that we are saved and receive salvation. We ask that those in these groups that do not know Jesus in forgiveness of sins and new life in submission to Jesus as Lord, that they come to know him and be saved. Jesus said, "I said therefore to you, that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins." John 8:24 WEB.
