Let us bring your cousins before the throne of grace, dear friend. We are reminded in Ephesians 1:3, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and His blessings.
Firstly, we pray that each one of your cousins may come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that those who do not yet know Him may have their eyes opened to His truth and love.
Now, let us pray for your cousins:
"Father in heaven, we lift up the cousins of our dear friend before Your throne. We pray that You would bless them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that they may walk worthy of the Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy. (Colossians 1:9-11)
We pray for their salvation, that they may accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We ask the Holy Spirit to moisten the ground of their hearts while the seeds of faith and God’s Word are planted. Draw them to Christ, convict the sin in their hearts, and soften their hearts to receive the love of Christ.
We also pray for their protection, provision, and guidance. Surround them with Your favor as with a shield. Be their refuge and their strength if not already. Let us remember your cousins, the Lord will guide them always; He will satisfy their needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen their frame. They will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. (Isaiah 58:11)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, dear friend, for God hears the prayers of the righteous. Continue to intercede for your cousins, and trust that God is working in their lives. Remember the parable of the sower in Luke 18:1-8, where Jesus taught us to always pray and not give up. Keep praying and do not be discouraged.
