We understand that you've been through a lot in recent years, Tiffy, and we want you to know that we're here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for you.
Firstly, we thank you for ending your request acknowledging Jesus. It is only In Jesus name that we have access to God. And it is only through Jesus we are saved. For there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
You are struggling with the hardships the last few years given the recent loss of your mother, your oldest brother. You are having issues with your family arguing, and you feel lonely. In addition, you are struggling to find a job. Your cat also went missing causing even more pain.
You are having feelings of anger because of your mistreatment. You are dealing with personal anger and the anger of others. You have frustration at the lack of concern for others in favor of money. You are asking prayer for all those struggles.
We encourage you to find comfort in the words of the Psalmist,
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
Psalm 91:1-4 (WEB).
We also find further encouragement in the continuation of Psalm 91.9-16. If you make the Most High your dwelling, no evil will befall you. No plaque will come near your tent, for God will give the angels orders about you to protect you wherever you go. The angels will bear you up so you will not dash your foot against a stone. You will trample the lion and the cobra and you will trample the lion and the cobra and trample the great lion and the serpent. Because you have set your love upon me, I will deliver you. I will set you on high, because you know my name. You will call on me, and I will answer you. I will be with you in trouble. I will deliver you and honor you. With long life will I satisfy you and show you my salvation.
God cares about your struggles and every detail of your life. In 1 Peter 5:6 we are told "βHumble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Your struggles can be seen as a refiner's fire growing you like Job in the Bible. You are right this world has many things wrong with it, there is excessive greed, and those things should make us angry. It is good to be angry about injustices. But do not allow that anger to lead you into sin. Ephesians 4:26. "Be angry, and don't sin." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry". Being constantly angry is not fruitful. We have to avoid bringing God's wrath upon ourselves. If we show grace like Jesus we can be angered by earthly injustices, but spend the energy pushing us toward good.
Jesus was angry at the state of the temple, and he didn't just internalize that anger, he did something about it. He didn't sin in his anger! "Jesus entered into the temple of God, and drove out all of those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers' tables and the seats of those who sold the doves. He said to them, 'It is written, 'My house shall be called a house of prayer,' but you have made it a den of robbers!'' Matthew 21:12-13 (WEB)
We need to take action in our lives like Jesus so we are not wanting to be alone, isolating out of anger with the world. We are told to Be kindly affectioned one to another ..., in honor preferring one another. Be alive and energetic all the time in God's work .... as you see your opportunity. Romans 12:10-11. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21. Forgive as we have been forgiven. Ephesians 4:31-32.
These events might very well be roundabout ways God is using to urge you closer to Him! We believe God is doing a good work in your life. We pray that 2025 you are truly trusting in him.
Finally Tiffy we pray that 2025 will be a year of blessing for everyone, including yourself. We pray you will find the peace that comes from knowing God's everlasting joy is with you. We also encourage you to surrender your family, mind, and concerns about finding a job to God. We are praying for God's intervention and for the softening of everyone's hearts. God cares for your struggles, and He wants the best for you, and everyone else care more about God and less about material possessions or money.
While there are no guarantees that the coming year will be without challenges, our job is to prepare ourselves spiritually by focusing on Jesus. If we focus on our savior we can face having less, the effects of evil, and persecution. We can work diligently under any circumstances, and be ready to defend our faith. We must live out our faith today and be prepared for any circumstances knowing we are assured victory over death to a perfect better eternal life through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your humility and continued faith and trust in God.
