Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith and trust, lifting up Tammy and Milly, Your beloved daughters, who are earnestly seeking Your guidance and provision in their lives. Lord, You know their hearts, their desires, and their struggles. We ask that You would be their comfort and their strength during this time of waiting and uncertainty.
Father, we pray specifically for Tammy, who has been waiting for Gary Coffey for seven years. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would bring clarity and resolution to this situation. We pray that Gary would fulfill his promise if it aligns with Your perfect plan. But above all, we ask that Tammy would find her ultimate fulfillment and peace in You, knowing that You are her true source of love and security. As Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." May Tammy rest in the assurance that Your plans for her are good.
We also lift up Milly, who is waiting for the man You have promised to walk into her life. Lord, we pray that this man would be a godly individual who seeks You with all his heart. We ask that You would orchestrate their meeting in Your perfect timing and that Milly would recognize him when he comes. Give her discernment and wisdom to see Your hand at work in her life. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." Help Milly to trust in Your guidance and to acknowledge You in all her ways.
Lord, both Tammy and Milly have experienced hurt and feelings of being forgotten. We ask that You would heal their hearts and remind them of Your unfailing love and presence. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." May they feel Your nearness and find comfort in Your promises.
We also pray for Tammy as she battles with her past. Lord, reveal to her the truth of Your forgiveness and grace. Help her to let go of any burdens and to walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for her. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." May Tammy embrace her new identity in Christ and move forward with confidence and hope.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
