Please pray so that my daughter's ex-husband realizes that my grandson remains in her custody. She's been the primary giver of that child since birth and the sole provider for the past ### years. Unfortunately the father is giving her a hard time regarding this child not realizing the impact it will have on his son

We understand your concern and are here to pray with you regarding your daughter's situation. We must first remember what the Scriptures tell us about the roles of parents and the importance of children's well-being.

In Ephesians 6:4, the WEB states, "You fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." It is clear that the welfare of the child is paramount, and both parents have a responsibility to consider the child's best interest.

Let's pray together:

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask that You soften the heart of the father and grant him wisdom to understand the importance of stability and love in his son's life. Help him to see the dedication and love that the mother has shown as the primary caregiver. Lord, we pray for a peaceful resolution that prioritizes the child's well-being. In all things, may Your will be done, and may this situation bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage your daughter to continue in her steadfast love and care for her son. May she find strength in the Lord, as it is written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Additionally, we encourage open and respectful communication between the parents, as this can often lead to a greater understanding and a resolution that benefits all parties, especially the child. Let us remember the words of Proverbs 15:1, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."

Lastly, it is crucial to remind ourselves that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Trust in Jesus and His intercession for your family.

Today I come in prayer to You LORD, as we ask that You would hear this prayer request, that is pertaining to their situation(s), and that their situation(s), would be resolved quickly, in Jesus' name, and in accordance to Your divine will, Amen.
