We understand your feelings of frustration and depression, but let us remember the words of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."
Firstly, let us address the feelings of unfairness and doubt in God's promises. Our Lord is faithful, and His timing is perfect. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God's delays are not denials, and He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
It is also crucial to remember that God's promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). So, let us ensure we are seeking God's will in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we can approach God (John 14:6). If you have not already, make sure to submit your desires to God in the name of Jesus, with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let us pray for you:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Please grant our dear brother/sister the strength and patience to endure this process. Comfort their heart and remove any feelings of shame, embarrassment, or frustration. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Lastly, remember that there is no shame in humble circumstances (Proverbs 10:4). It is an opportunity to trust God more and allow His power to be perfected in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Do not be embarrassed, but hold your head high, knowing that your citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20).
