Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Scott to you. We ask for your divine intervention and guidance in his life. Lord, we pray that you would strengthen Scott and help him to hold true to his word of abstaining from drinking liquor or wine. We acknowledge that he has had a difficult past week, and we pray for healing and restoration in his life.
Lord, we know that all things are possible through you. Your Word reminds us in Matthew 19:26 that "with God all things are possible." We believe in your power to transform lives and to bring about lasting change. We ask that you would work in Scott's heart, convicting him of the dangers and consequences of his actions. Help him to see the destructive path he has been on and grant him the strength to turn away from it.
We also pray for protection, Lord. We lift up Scott's safety and the safety of others around him. We ask that you would intervene and prevent any further instances of drunk driving or reckless behavior. Surround him with your angels, Lord, and guide him towards making wise choices.
Father, we are drained and weary, but we trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 40:31 that "those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." We cling to this promise and ask for renewed strength and endurance for Scott and for all those affected by his actions.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect will and timing. May your grace and mercy be poured out upon Scott, bringing about transformation and restoration in his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
