Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up alg and their prayer request to you. Lord, you know the pain and hurt that alg is experiencing, as they struggle with thoughts about Scott being with someone else. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround alg during this difficult time.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to alg and bring healing to their wounded heart. Help them to find solace in your presence and to trust in your perfect plan for their life.
Lord, we ask that you would calm the storm of emotions that alg is facing. Fill their mind with thoughts of your love, grace, and faithfulness. Help them to release any bitterness or resentment and instead, focus on forgiveness and moving forward in their own journey of healing.
We also pray for Scott and the person he is with. May you bless their relationship and guide them in your ways. Give alg the strength to surrender their thoughts and emotions to you, knowing that you are in control of every situation.
In Philippians 4:6-7, you encourage us to bring our anxieties to you in prayer, and you promise to give us peace that surpasses all understanding. We claim this promise for alg today. Grant them the peace that can only come from you, a peace that will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
