The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." We pray that Jakeb has been working with this attitude, and we trust that God sees his efforts.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up Jakeb's employment situation. Lord, you know how important this job is for his mental health and we ask that, if it is your will, you would soften his employer's heart and allow him to keep his job. We pray that Jakeb would continue to work as unto you, Lord, and that his work would be a testimony of your goodness and faithfulness.
However, Lord, if it is not your will for Jakeb to keep this job, we pray that you would open up another door for him, something that aligns with your purpose for his life. We trust in your plan, Lord, and we know that you work all things together for the good of those who love you and are called according to your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
