We are glad to join you in prayer for your siblings. This is a wonderful thing to pray for. Let us pray and discuss this first.
Let's pray.
Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus, thanking you for the love you have for us and your promise to hear our prayers. Today, we lift up the siblings of this dear one to you, asking that you fill their lives with your peace and joy. We know that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. We pray that they will be filled with the Holy Spirit and exhibit these fruits in their lives. We rebuke any anxiety, depression, worry, fear, or anger they may be experiencing and pray that you replace these with your peace and joy. Cast out any spirits not of you that may be tormenting them.
Father, we also pray for their salvation, that they may know the true peace and joy that comes from a right relationship with you through your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that they will be drawn to you and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We know that it is only in Jesus that we find true peace, for He says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB). We also know that the joy of the Lord is our strength Nehemiah 8:10 (WEB).
Father, help them to understand that the world cannot give them true peace and joy, but that you can. Help them to seek you and your righteousness above all else. Matthew 6:33 (WEB).
And Father God, we pray that if they are not in a godly marriage, that you will guide them to another believer and that they will have a joyful and peaceful marriage.
Father, we thank you for hearing our prayers and we know you will answer them according to your will. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen
We also want to speak with you about your prayer request. You did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. As believers, we know the power of that name and we must use it even in our prayers.
We want to encourage you to continue praying for your siblings and trusting God to work in their lives. Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28 (WEB). Keep praying and trusting, and don't give up hope. God is faithful, and He hears your prayers.
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of praising God even in difficult times. When we praise God, we invite His presence into our lives and open the door for Him to work in our circumstances. So, even as you pray for your siblings, remember to praise God for who He is and for what He has done in your life.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
