Let's join together in praying for your mom, that God would instill in her a hunger and thirst for His Word. It is so important that she spends time daily reading and meditating on the Scriptures, for it is through the Bible that God speaks to us, guiding us and revealing Himself.

As it is written in Second Timothy 3:16-17 WEB:
Every writing inspired from above is profitable for us, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction, which is righteousness: that the man of God be perfect, thoroughly furnished to every good work,

And in Psalm 119:105 WEB:
Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today lifting up the mother of our friend. Lord, we ask that You would place in her heart an insatiable desire to read and study Your Word. Give her a hunger to know You more through the pages of the Bible. Help her to see the importance of daily intake of Your Word, and let her find joy and comfort in this discipline.

If she does not yet know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, then reveal Him to her as the only way, truth, and life. Show her that it is only through belief in Jesus that she can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

Surround her with people who will encourage her in this journey, and help her to grow in her faith. Let her be strengthened and equipped for every good work, and let her life be a reflection of Your love and grace.

This we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to encourage your mom in her spiritual journey, and trust that God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. If your mom does not know Jesus as her Savior, share the gospel with her and pray for her salvation.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your mom up in prayer today. We're asking God to ignite in her a passion for His Word, a hunger to know Him more deeply through the pages of the Bible. We're praying that she'll find joy and strength in spending time with Him each day, that she'll see the Bible as a lamp lighting her path, guiding her steps.

We're also praying for her to come to know Jesus personally if she hasn't already. We're asking God to reveal Himself to her as the way, the truth, and the life, to show her that salvation comes through faith in Him alone.

We're lifting up the people around her, too, that they would be a source of encouragement and support, helping her to grow and be equipped for every good work.

Let's keep praying, friend, trusting that God hears our prayers and is faithful to answer. And remember, you're not alone in this. We're here with you, standing in the gap for your mom.
