Please pray my mom loves God.

We are glad to join you in prayer for your mom. It is wonderful to hear that you desire for her to love God. Remember, God desires for all people to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved.

Firstly, let us address something of great importance. You did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it says in the Bible:

"In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him."(Ephesians 3:12, WEB)

"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB)

To believe in Jesus Christ is a commandment, not merely a suggestion. So let us share the good news of Jesus with you.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. (John 3:16-17, WEB)

Jesus will save your mom if she believes in Him and His completed work on the cross for her sins. The Bible says:

If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10, WEB)

Moving on, let us address your desire for your mom to love God. The Bible says:

We love him, because he first loved us. If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn't love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? (1 John 4:19-20, WEB)

If your mother is not loving God, it may be because she does not know of His great love for her. God loved her so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for her sins. He has saved her from eternal death if she believes.

Let us pray together for your mom.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name by which we must be saved. Lord, we lift up the mother of the one who submitted this request. We pray that You fill her heart with Your love. Reveal to her the depth of Your love for her. Open her heart to receive the good news of Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray that she comes to believe in Jesus as her Lord and Savior. We pray for her salvation. Draw her close to You, Father let her experience the love of Jesus Christ and that He first loved us. Turn her heart toward you.

Father God, we also pray for the one who submitted this request. We pray that they are abiding in You and in Your word. We pray that they continue to be a light to their mother, that their love and faith is evident to her. Help them to live in a way that is pleasing to You and that points others to You.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
