Let's lift up your mom in prayer, trusting that God wants to bless her with joy and contentment each week. It's important to remember the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 118:24 (WEB), "This is the day WEB has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!"
Firstly, we need to address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We are not just praying to God by Himself. We are praying to God in the name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is our intercessor. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of the one who submitted this request. We pray that You fill her days with joy and gladness, that she may enjoy every week to the fullest. Help her to see the blessings You have placed in her life, and may she find contentment in Your love and grace, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for her. Grant her a renewed spirit and a heart that is open to receiving the abundance of Your goodness. We pray that she look to you for the strength and joy that you give. Keep her from looking to other people or things for the joy that only you can give.
We rebuke any spirit of discontent, loneliness, or sadness that may be trying to steal her joy. We pray that You surround her with people who will uplift and encourage her, and that she may be a blessing to others as well.
Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, that they may know You intimately through Jesus Christ, be saved because of His sacrifice, and have the Holy Spirit dwell within them.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your mom, and to trust in the Lord's promise in Psalm 37:4 (WEB), "Delight yourself also in WEB, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Keep delighting in Him, and He will honor your prayers according to His perfect will.
