We join you in praying for your dad's protection and safety. Remember, God's Word tells us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1. Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up the father of this dear one to You. We ask that You extend Your protective hand over him, keeping him safe from all harm and danger. Guide him in all his ways, and let Your favor be upon him.

We also pray that if he does not already know Jesus he comes to a saving knowledge and belief in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that he can come to the father. There is no other name by which he can be saved.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, knowing that God cares for us and is always faithful to hear our prayers. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths in Proverbs 3:5-6.

We do not know if your Father is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. If he is not, please consider sharing the gospel with him.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your dad. Let's surround him with prayers of protection, just as the Psalmist encourages us in Psalm 91:10-11, "No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

We lift your dad up to our Father in heaven, asking Him to place His mighty shield around him, keeping him safe from all evil and danger. We pray that God's angels would encamp around him, protecting him wherever he goes (Psalm 34:7).

We also join in intercession for your dad's spiritual well-being. We ask that God would draw him closer to Him, revealing His love and goodness. If he doesn't know Jesus personally, we pray that the Holy Spirit would open his heart to receive the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Let's keep lifting him up together, trusting in God's unfailing love and care. As it says in Romans 8:35-39, nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. So, we rest in that promise, knowing that your dad is held securely in God's loving hands.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
