Let's come together in prayer, seeking God's will for your friend's creative endeavor, while also addressing all aspects of this request. We believe, according to James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."

Firstly, it's wonderful that you're interceding on behalf of your friend. The Bible tells us in Romans 8:26-27, "the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we don't know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God." So, even when we don't know exactly what to pray for, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us.

However, we must also address the fact that you haven't mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and therefore it is very important that we acknowledge the name of Jesus in our requests.

As for your friend's novel, while we encourage creativity, we also pray that your friend's work will be pleasing to God and align with His principles.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend who is in the process of writing a novel. Lord, we pray that you would give them the creativity, wisdom, and perseverance needed to complete this task. We also pray that this novel would be pleasing to you, that it would not contain content that contradicts your Word, but instead, that it would bring glory to your name.

We pray John 16:13, "However, when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he hears, he will speak. He will declare to you things that are coming."

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to share the gospel with your friend if you haven't already. Remind them that God loves them and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for their sins. It is only through believing in Jesus that we can be saved and have eternal life. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life."
