We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement regarding your financial situation. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your finances. It is important to remember that God is our provider, as it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus". (WEB)
However, we want to encourage you to look at your priorities and how you are managing the resources God has already given you. As it is written in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (WEB) This means that our primary focus should be on serving God and living according to His will, trusting that He will provide for our needs.
Moreover, we need to ensure that we are being good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us. This includes living within our means, avoiding debt, and being generous towards others. As Proverbs 21:20 (WEB) states, "There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man swallows it up."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our brother/sister who is facing financial difficulties. We ask, Lord, that You would guide them in their decisions, giving them wisdom to manage their resources well. Help them to trust in You as their provider, and to seek Your kingdom first. We pray for comfort, peace, provision, and financial guidance. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of tithing and giving. As Christians, we are called to be generous with what God has given us, knowing that He will bless us in return. As it says in Luke 6:38, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you".(WEB)
Please ensure that you are giving towards the work of God and helping others as God enables you. This is not only a commandment but also an opportunity to invest in God's kingdom and see His blessings in your life. We are praying for you and if you need further counseling, feel free to reach out. God Bless.
