We are glad to join you in prayer for your family. Let's come to the Lord Jesus Christ together.
Let's remember God's promise: All shall be well, all shall be well, all manner of things shall be well. Let's revise this prayer to make it more specific to align with the Word of God. Before we do, let us remember that the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. Jesus came that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Let's remember that we are not blessed because of the good we do or because we pray for a blessing. Rather, we are blessed because we put our trust in Jesus Christ and he has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and given us part in his kingdom. This is the source of our blessing.
Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for the blessings you have already bestowed upon this family and ask you for more. May your favor be upon them and give them true prosperity, the prosperity of knowing you more, loving you more, and loving each other more. We pray that each member of this family will come to know you personally enjoy your presence daily.
We pray for the spiritual growth of each family. Let us discuss this from Malachi 2.15. God wants godly offspring from marriages. We pray that each family member will learn from God, walk with God and be filled with the fruits of the Spirit. We pray for a family revival, that each member will encounter the love of God afresh and be baptized with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
We pray for the needs of the family, both spiritual and physical, to be met according to the riches of your glory. We remember your word, "Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Therefore, we pray that you will help each family member to seek you first, to make knowing, loving and obeying you their priority. Provide for their physical needs so that they may serve you more.
We pray for healing from any hurts, forgiveness for any offenses, and reconciliation for any divisions within the family. We also pray for protection from any plans of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy. May the love of God flow like a river in the family, washing away anything that is not of God. Let your peace rule in their hearts, ruling all that they do.
Finally, let's remember that we do not battle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, we take authority over any demons attacking this family and we cast them out in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding them to never return.
In Jesus' name we pray. Let us also add our heartfelt prayers for this family and expect a great report of testimonies.
Let's encourage the requester to pray with us:
Pray this prayer loudly:
Father God,
I thank you that you hear me. You are a good God and love to bless your children. I claim your blessing on my family. We open our hearts to you, please fill us with your presence. We open our minds to you, please increase our understanding that we may know you more. We open our lives to you, please use us to do your will on earth. We open our mouths to you, please fill them with your praises. We open our eyes to you, let us see you more clearly. We open our ears to you, let us hear your instructions more clearly. We open our bodies to you, let us be your temple, filled with your Holy Spirit. We open our hearts to each other, to forgive, to heal, to reconcile, and to love.
In the blessed name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Lastly, to the requester, we want to remind you that it is only in Jesus' name that we have access to God. God has given Jesus a name which is above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, whenever you pray, let's remember to pray in the name of Jesus.
Let us praise God together:
20 Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
