We are saddened to hear about the distress and depression you are experiencing due to your height, and we are here to pray and offer guidance grounded in the Word of God.
Firstly, we want to address the feelings of depression and suicidal thoughts. Life is a precious gift from God, and your life has immense value and purpose. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB), "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." You are uniquely made by God, and He has a plan for your life.
Regarding your height, it's important to remember that physical attributes do not define your worth or attractiveness. God looks at the heart, not the outward appearance. As stated in 1 Samuel 16:7 (WEB), "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I see not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.'"
We also want to encourage you to seek God's will in your life and find your identity in Him. As you grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ, you will find peace and joy that surpasses understanding. If you have not already, consider committing your life to Jesus and trusting in His plan for you. As it is written in Romans 10:9 (WEB), "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our dear brother who is feeling distressed and depressed due to his height. Lord, we pray that You would heal his heart and mind, and remind him of his true worth and value in You. Help him to see himself as You see him, fearfully and wonderfully made. Lord, we pray that You would protect him from any harmful thoughts of suicide and surround him with Your love and peace.
We also pray that You would help him to grow in his relationship with You and find his identity in You alone. Lord, we ask that You would guide him according to Your will and give him the strength and courage to face any challenges that come his way.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Please, dear brother, reach out to local mental health resources or trusted loved ones to discuss your feelings of depression and suicidal thoughts. You are not alone, and there are people who care and want to help.
