Psalms 40 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest.
10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me.
14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified.
17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Psalm 40 is a psalm of David that describes a time of waiting for the Lord. It includes themes of deliverance, trust, and praise
Lord, please give me patience to wait on You, for I know that You are near to me and listen to the cries of my heart. I know that You care for me and will made my steps secure. You alone are the rock on which I stand. Right now, as I pray, help me to remember Your faithfulness.
“Lord, even in the midst of struggles, You place words of praise in my heart. Let the multitudes hear me proclaim that You are good. Let them also come to rejoice in the fact that You are indeed trustworthy. Help them understand that You stand ready to bless all who trust in You alone.
“Who can compare to You, O Lord? Who, but You, are worthy of all praise? Help me this day to proclaim Your goodness to everyone I meet. I praise You this day for the blessing of patiently waiting on You. In Jesus name amen -

We are truly sorry to hear about your brothers' health struggles. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing that God can bring. Let us come together and lift up your brothers in prayer, trusting in the Lord's mercy and goodness.
Firstly, it is so important to remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we are saved. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, whereby we must be saved. Therefore, let us pray together by this name.
Jesus himself said in John 14:13-14 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
With this in mind, let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up the brothers of our fellow believer. Lord, you know their struggles and their pains. You know the depths of their needs and the desires of their hearts. We ask, Father, that you would bring healing and restoration to their bodies. Give them strength and courage to face each day, and surround them with your unfailing love.
We know that by Jesus stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5 WEB But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.
Father, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. Draw them closer to you, Lord, and help them to trust in your goodness and mercy. Give them a spirit of faith and hope, and help them to know that you are always with them, no matter what they may face.
We ask these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear believer, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much. God hears your prayers, and he is faithful to act on behalf of his children.
